LA indie rockers Army Navy released this third studio album and it is a super solid poppy indie rock addition to the library. Not going to say a whole lot about each song because they arent super varied, it is good through and through though. RIYL: Death Cab, Get Up Kids, Tokyo Police Club. FCC WARNING: Track 9 Recommended Tracks: 2, 4, 5 1. (3:58) In Waves - Mid tempo rock song. Good melody, shambly chorus. 2. (3:54) The Mistakes - More guitar distortion on this one up tempo, poppy. 3. (4:35) Crushed Like The Car - This one is kind of a throw away I think. 4. (4:09) Waiting To Win - This one is more interesting musically and lyrically. One of my favorites on the record. 5. (3:58) I'm Curious - Simple, sweet, catchy. 6. (4:06) World's End - Lo-fi 60s surfy. 7. (4:19) Dumb Luck - Kind of boring. 8. (4:08) Pacific - Mellow with a kind of up tempo beat some how, prettier. 9. FCC!! SHIT. (3:38) Spinning On The Record - Up tempo pop rock. 10. (5:13) Birdy - Mid-tempo, more of a country twangy guitar. I like this one a lot. | ||
