Sabbath infused heavy rock with a glam swaggery flare. Dark mystical lyrics permeate, not so much beer swilling anthems. Guitar centered for sure, riffage and pounding drums, Tony Iommi love, moments of Metallica and UFO. Local SF band with Tucson roots, played Weds Night Live earlier this year. Fans of Sabbath, Dio, Nebula, Kiss, Fu Manchu, Thin Lizzy take note. 1) (5:36) big doomy rock intro to a rockin, head noddin glammy piece 2) (4:29) minor tri-tonal simple sway rock 3) (6:17) cool echoey flanged guitar intro, then full on Sabbath love 4) (3:02) riffage, about Capp Street whores 5) (3:26) hard rock/metal, near UFO Metallica feel with the riffs and phrasing 6) (3:13) big swagger, a cowbell appears and realize “THAT’S whats been missing!” 7) (4:37) classic format of an acoustic guitar intro that stops and brings on the rawk! But ballady, slower self reflective piece 8) (4:21) begins w/ spacey trippy echoey guitar and effects, then a riff that sounds a lot like Earache My Eye, Tolkien references… Dude! \m/ ! | ||
