Field Mouse, Hold Still Life: Indie rock / dream pop / shoegaze. Formed in Brooklyn in 2010 and signed to Topshelf Records. Hold still life is their first full release. Okay album, lives in a gray space between indie rock and dream pop. RIYL: Eternal summers, Rainer Maria, mbv, Black Tambourine, The Breeders. FCC clean.

1. (2:45) **Shoegazy rainer maria, good 90’s/2000’s indie rock
2. (2:40) ** Shoegazey indie rock. Breeders feel. Chill vocals over open snares and cymbals, upbeat drums. Heavy guitar.
3. (4:18) **Chill, cool bass. Play me.
4. (2:43) Song about feeling left out, song is nice, but lyrics are bit too direct to convey the emotion sincerely.
5. (2:39) Mid tempo, and heavy. Generic indie rock intro. Chorus is meh. Song gets better after first chorus.
6. (2:56) *Bass is nice. Song is okay.
7. (3:17) **Mid tempo indie rock/pop song. Chill vibe, great song.
8. (3:13) Generic song that does not feel sincere. Boring guitar.
9. (3:58)* Nice slow indie rock ballad.
10. (3:06) *Nice song. Kind of generic, but good indie pop rock
11. (1:57) *Chill, nice indie rock song.
12. (4:36) **Chill base and vocals, picks up at 2:30 with wall of sound heavy guitar
