synth and guitar driven, indie/dance punk with male and female vocalist. not much here lyrically but some fun teenage instrumentals and pretty compelling synth work throughout. riyl early arctic monkeys, the raconteurs.
1. big, staccato indie. vocalists come in and out fluidly around each other. gooey synth solo at 3:00.
2. synthy, guitar-driven dance punk. rides on cymbals and tambourine. french verse, arctic monkeys delivery.
3. slow bass drum ballad, deep female voice (same singer with different inflection).
4. rolling britrock rhythm section. electronics get kinda annoying and tinny on this one. second half sounds like sleater kinney.
*5. slower rock with a high and constant synth pattern. quietly brooding vocals and group chorus stand out here.
6. higher vocalist over bass drum hits and quiet guitar. picks up at 2:20 with synths and termmelo picking. powerful ending.
