Two atypically (sort of) floor-friendly cuts from Airhead (producer, member of James Blake's band). Darker than other stuff I've heard from him, and also a little more straight-forward and less spacey (though still plenty weird and nuanced). Not particularly sunny, but still playful.

RIYL: Untold and other Hemlock stuff, strange spacey dance music

1. chirping percussion, slowly descending videogame synth, squeaky sound effects. muffled raspy voice whispering something unintelligible. thudding long-decaying kicks enter around :30. rhythm starts hiccuping intermittently at points but smoothes out again. vocal sample like a construction worker saying “don’t go there”. bits of clatter come in and out starting around mid-way. faint washes of static throughout. 4:43
2. hazy static-y synth washes and short low-pitched bleeps over slow house rhythm. clatter comes in after the halfway mark, but is more subdued than on track 1. this is probably what they play at the clubs that kid koala’s cartoon robots go to. 5:04

recommended: either, depends on whether you want breaks or four-on-the-floor
