Singular and knee-bucklingly gorgeous ambient Americana from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Slow loops of plucked country/blues/folk guitar unraveling across cloudy, empty roads and fields and forests. Endless layers of droning melancholy bliss. I haven’t found anything quite like this before. This might be my favorite album of 2014. All tracks are incredible, but particular favorites are 2, 3, 4, 8. No words, no FCCs.

1. (4:03)—Murky, unsettled drone with slow viola.
2. *(5:26)—Quietly propulsive guitar lowered into a drone bath.
3. *(5:31)—Bright guitars gliding ballet-like across dewy grasses.
4. *(11:15)—Slow, soft, angelic electric guitars descending in an endless misty haze.
5. (2:46)—Very slow, deep, bluesy guitar.
6. (4:59)—Grainy acoustic guitar loop, rays of swirling synth.
7. (4:07)—Dark, warm synth piano. Wind chimes, insects.
8. *(10:08)—Desolate pedal steel, warm melodic drones, field recordings. A subtle and almost percussive element enters for a couple minutes.
