As Reviewed By Mister Esquire. sultry-core/smooth-core/soft serve-core. synth-pop that's solid&smooth. kinda dream pop, but a little too main for that sub gen. fem vox, ala Fionna Appel, Lourde, et al. MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW N-(THAT'S HALF AN 'M'.) FCC CLEAN: THEY'RE BELGIAN. SOUNDS LIKE: WYE OAK, BUNCHA OTHER BANDS THAT ARE DOING THE ELCTRO POP THING, ET AL. PLAY: 1, 2, 4. 1. PURR-FECT: smooothe... 2. PURR-FECT II: more dancey, bassy, but still..it's smooothe... 3. sounds like Lourde, but better. too bad live 105 doesn't play this instead. 4. PURR-FECT II: slow, sultry...light them lemon candles... | ||
