Super advanced experimental rock with jazz prog elements for sure. Instrumental aside from subtle samples, electric bass, guitar, weird synths, acoustic instruments as well. Runs the gamut often in one song. Cinematic in places, doomy dark in others. Tripped out here, pleasant and standard there. Another killer winner from Cuneiform. 1) (3:44) strange 5/4 beat, "weird" if playful interweaving of instruments 2) (8:54) goes thru many moods tones, epic 3)* (3:57) cool upbeat 4/4 sentiments, almost new wavey 4) (2:14) backwardsy tones, organ rich, strange, cool 5)* (4:18) play with Soft Machine cuz killer doomy organ starts this dark themed one 6)* (2:29) getting really strange now, low rumble, sorta funky, efx, cool 7) (7:08) multifaceted with spacey spooky part, doomier Proggy 8) (8:24) another eclectic piece with acoustic guitar, samples, almost collage 9) (3:42) bright cheery lilting feel, change of pace 10)* (3:12) another trippy spaced out freaky track 11) (2:28) very cinematic, starts a drone and ends with brass bursts, wow | ||
