Mixed but pretty good new bluegrass from legend Doyle Lawson.
Some great tracks here.

– (2:32) Roll Big River* Fast, hard-driving bluegrass, fine playing & vocals.
– (2:44) Wilma Walker Mid-tempo love tune, just so-so.
– (3:28) Calling All Her Children Home Slow song of reflection, a bit banal.
– (2:48) Weep & Cry* Mid-tempo weeper, quite fine.
– (2:53) I’d Just Be Fool Enough* Fine ensemble vocals on this love song.
– (3:17) Big Eight Wheeler* Good upbeat song about wandering, loneliness.
– (2:40) You, You, You Skip this overly cute song, ugh.
– (2:03) Evening Prayer Blues* Spare, fine dobro & mandolin duet instrumental.
– (2:18) Reasons Why* Up-tempo lament about heartbreak & regret, fine.
– (2:21) I Told Them All About You* Fantastic vocals, really a fun track.
– (2:48) Captain Separated by war, just OK.
– (3:40) Americana Skip this patriotic drivel.
