Garage rock band out of Nashville, TN founded by the Be Your Own Pet guitarist Jonas Stein. First time I have heard a record from them and I am sold. Awesome simple melody driven garage rock so right up my alley. This particular record is their fourth and it chronicles a relationship start to finish. It is awesome cover to cover so enjoy!! 1. (3:47) Show Me Something Real - Mid tempo, psychedelic garage rock.
2. (3:05) The Way I Want You - Uptempo poppy rock, killer melody, simple love story.
3. (4:00) Don't Let Me Break Your Heart Again - Uptempo, Strokes sounding but even more lo-fi.
4. (2:51) Favorite Girl - Short. Simple. Pop rock. Love song.
5. (3:22) Need To Know - More uptempo pop rock, a little more of a mid-90s feel.
6. (3:32) Don't Change - Mid tempo, a little more retro feeling, yet another awesome melody.
7. (3:15) No Reason To Stay - Favorite, this is by far the most infectious melody, coming to the end of the relationship now.
8. (2:30) FCC GOD DAMN - Friends - Love this one, I would argue that god damn is playable on air but that is one that is up to you to decide on. Great melody, great story again.
9. (2:17) Blow These Clouds - Mid tempo psych rock.
10. (3:15) FCC SHIT - Worry About You - Mid tempo, cool baseline builds in the chorus, love this one too…unfortunately you can't play it.
11. (4:14) FCC GOD DAMN - Big Brother - Kind of sad song, but another great melody, also has the GOD DAMN FCC so use your own judgement.
