One of those rare live performances that totally captures the magic of the evening and showcases the brilliance of a band (and I was there to witness it in person). Les Discrets is a French Shoegaze/Post-Rock band from artist Fursy Teyssier, and at some point some of the members of Alcest. Highly influenced by Slowdive and other original Shoegaze acts, this is the last release from the band that features this style of music. For fans of Alcest, Slowdive, Heretoir, Amesoeurs, etc.

1. (3:02). Mood setting quirky intro. (3 out of 5)
2. (4:12). Majestic shoegaze catchiness, one of the best from the band. (5 out of 5)
3. (4:29). Surprisingly heavy, but equally dreamy. (4 out of 5)
4. (4:27). Heart wrenching piece, Fursy and Zero combine vocals in a very dramatic way with a lush backdrop of atmospheric magic. (5 out of 5)
5. (6:57). Best shoegazing track in the album, this will HAUNT your dreams. (5 out of 5)
6. (5:18). A bit more upbeat than the previous songs but with some excellent somber passages. (4 out of 5)
7. (9:16). Hopelessness at its best. (5 out of 5)
8. (9:06). Absolute perfection, truly magical song. Lush guitars and tight drums and tons of shoegazy effects. Only track in English. (6 out of 5)
