FCC Clean All Tracks
Fave Tracks ***1,2,5,11. Track 9 is Funny.
.***Supermoon (3:28) Spacey, folksy, sensual, ghostly sexy gypsy jazz, cuts into swell, building towards end. Fits like a Santa Cruz beach song
.**Call A Truce (3:29) Spacey, back n forth bouncy, hopeful, pretty vocals
.You're No Island (3:25) Slow w/ accordion & casio-driven, rootsy, a bit too "K-Love" vocals pretty
.Looking for a Man (2:50) "Nora Jones" groovy but sung by "Amy Grant" A decent track somehow
.***Intro (0:28) Sexy mysterious, jazzy ethereal, beautiful trumpet solo
.***Two Bridges (3:02) CONTINUATION OF TRACK 5, THE TITLE TRACK, A poetic & romantic mood, singing with a trumpet dancing in.
.The Heart (3:26) A bit "Belle & Sebastian" w/ swells of feel-good keyboard fullness and soft harmonies, nice sax solo
.Use the Brakes (3:29) Slow swinger, a bit cheesy w/ organs & swing-beat about the failure to learn from mistakes. Clever track
.Mail Order Bride (3:06) Jazzy solo acoustic vocals and light guitar, later bcked by stand-up bass.
.***Diamonds on the Bay (3:57) Bluesy easy-going song that gets there w/ accordion, guitar, vocals and an old friend, the standup bass
.***Echo (3:23) Soft, most diverse track on the album, haunting folksy with nice rhythm and leaves and echo.
