This is the second solo record from Killers frontman Brandon Flowers. Super poppy, super theatrical, but there is something compelling about it. Probably not the favorite album of KZSUers, but it is worth listening to for sure. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. FCC CLEAN!! Favorites - 1, 2, 4, 6 1. (4:04) Dreams Come True - Huge sound to lead it off with a great horns section, great track, great story. 2. (3:42) Can't Deny My Love - This song is kind of great, super theatrical, 80s feel (like the rest of the album), but undeniably great. 3. (4:19) I Can Change - Not as into this one, pretty boring and almost disco-y. 4. (3:11) Still Want You - The instrumentation on this one is great, one of my favorites, super different and another great song with really cool harmonies on the chorus. 5. (4:39) Between Me And You - This one is sappy and dramatic and boring (IMO). 6. (3:31) Lonely Town - This is a hit, great horns, epic, infectious. 7. (3:50) Diggin' Up The Heart - Fine song, not a favorite. 8. (3:44) Never Get You Right - Another great synthy track with a story to tell. 9. (4:11) Untangled Love - More of the same, nothing too special. 10. (3:59) The Way It's Always Been - Downtempo, kind of pretty, album wind-down. | ||
