Garagey surfy twangy low fi coolness. Not to be pigeonholed into the fuzz garage book, this varies a lot, even smacking of early New Order at times (huh? Yup!) Vocals are male but less in your face so much as another fuzzy instrument. Great great stuff for fans of all things Burger, Slovenly, Castle Face (and Estrus, rest their soul). Dig out The Demonics, Luxurious Bags for this one. 1)* (2:52) rockin straight ahead fuzziness, just what you'd expect, no disappointment 2) (3:39) slow mindful. 3)* (3:49) a surf western tone, mellow but upbeat 4) (2:27) upbeat rockin harder, melodic guitar hook. 5)* (3:14) surf western garage with a dark twist 6) (4:35) slower heavy swing. 7) (2:18) upbeat bouncing simple garaging. 8) (3:24) use of chorus effect gives this a much different feel, an 80's jangle 9)* (3:36) chorus remains, certain 80's tone too, if a high hat beat broke out it'd smack of new order, but instead it's really lush and pretty 10)* (2:35) upbeat melodic, sassy cool 11) (3:05) slow rock ballady swing w heavy breaks 12) (4:58) starts simple sweet guitar, back and forth louder, ballady | ||
