The Fratellis Fourth full length release from Glasgow three piece The Fratellis. This record is an excellent Alt-Rock record, full of big sound and big hooks, I was super impressed. RIYL: The Fratellis, Franz Ferdinand, Fitz and the Tantrums…etc FCC CLEAN! Recommended tracks: 1, 2, 3, 9 1. (5:37) Me and the Devil - Awesome, heavy drum beat, urgent lyrics, great lead into this record. 2. (3:39) Imposters (Little by Little) - More of an Americana vibe, beautiful song, one of my favorites. 3. (3:48) Baby Don't You Lie to Me! - Uptempo, almost feels like an Elton John song, the melody is infectious, LOVE!! 4. (3:39) Desperate Guy - Mid tempo, great harmonies, another great track. 5. (3:28) Thief - This is very Fitz and the Tantrums-y, lots of noise, lots of epic sounding vocals, super catchy etc. 6. (3:43) Dogtown - A song to stomp your foot to, impossible not to bob your head a long, more gritty rock track. Super good. 7. (3:32) Rosanna - Mid/uptempo pop-rock, another great melody. 8. (4:42) Slow - Down tempo, reminds me a bit of the Brandon Flowers record, theatrical etc. 9. (3:52) Getting Surreal - This is awesome, almost sounds like an old Spoon song, heavy focus on the piano and guitar, driving beat. 10. (4:03) Too Much Wine - Uptempo rock song, nothing special. 11. (3:41) Moonshine - Downtempo, not my favorite. 12. (3:16) Down the Road and Back... Again… - Uptempo and fun. 13. (3:13) Medusa in Chains - Down tempo and mellow. ——These next ones are all just acoustic versions of other songs on the record. 14. (3:51) Imposters (Little by Little) [Acoustic] 15.
