Beautiful harp and instrumentals, odd voice quality takes getting used to; obscure lyrics will take many more listens for me to fully understand; intriguing though. Favorite tracks : 7,9,10,11 FCC's: Tracks 4&5 1-Anecdotes -6:27 – elaborately orchestrated; exaggerated voice quality weaves in and out of story snippets 2-Sapokanikan -5:11- skipping rhythm with percussion; fantastical world 3-Leaving the City -3:48- harp and piano, percussion; peekaboo images 4-Goose Eggs – 5:01-synth backs voice 5-Waltz of the 101st Lightborne – 5:22 – historical dream; violins 6-The Things I Say –2:35-manifesto with piano *7-Divers – 7:07- ethereal arpeggios lead into prettier singing 8-Same Old Man – 2:26- harp as banjo? – low-pitched synth *9-You Will Not Take My Heart Alive – 4:05- beautiful harp accompaniment plus synths *10-A Pin-Light Bent – 4:26 – dramatic harp chords; voice soars a little *11.
