Primo jazz bordering on prog: searing guitar a la john McLaughlin, excellent sax/alto sax, fine drumming and upright bass. Improv free jazz in parts, nice composition in others. Great stuff.

1) (3:40) very jazzy timing and bounce, hooky melodic horns, classic jazz feel 2)* (4:44) guitar takes center, very prog-fusion rock feel, McLaughlin, then sax takes over, rockin 3) (2:41) free jazz feel, pensive, but minimal too 4)* (3:41) bass takes center, killer playing, high energy w alto, dissonant turns free jazz angular noises 5)* (10:08) begins minimal w bass and guitar soloing together, drums appear brushed and hand drummed, free jazz feel ensues but pretty alto sax keeps things light and musical with tribal feeling percussive guitar 6) (7:07) begins slow sparse improv feel but guitar centered, sax almost gets skronky 7) (6:01) dark spooky minimal start plinked guitar bowed bass, dark
