Fall In is the debut recording by British singer Hannah Rodgers, who goes by the name Pixx. She practices electronic-infused pop, where organic sampled sounds, minimal computer generated beats, and slick synthesizers riffs and melodies play well against her soulful voice. Despite the mellow tone of the EP, there’s a lot of emotion and mystery emanating from it. 4AD forever. |
RIYL: Cocteau Twins, Tamaryn, Grimes, U.S. Girls, and Bat for Lashes.
