Blue Tapes

Experimental guitar, cello and double bass. Lots of repetitive loops, crazy unexpected sounds and long drawn out improv melodies. Very very good. Very very Minimum Entropy RIYL The Necks, Le Berger

***1. (4:48) (RIYL) Ernest Diaz-Infante meets Hildur Gudnadottir
***2. (2:42) Lots of bass notes, percussion like sounds, very cool
***3. (6:21) Bowing and plucking and picking swirl
***4. (2:41) Dark and stormy
*5. (3:38) Bass plucking, high cello light bowing, dramatic, sliding solo
6. (2:33) Kind of folky, fingerpicking noodly guitar, intensifies in waves
7. (2:43) Thumping thwating lower guitar string, noodly violin, nothing really comes together
8. (4:12) One note improv also using bodies of instruments as percussion, less conventional noises, too repetitive
