Datin, known most notably for how he would slay MC's in freestyle rap battles on 106 and Park and in other venues in the early and mid 2000's, joined GOM Entertainment just under a year ago and this is his first offering from this label that's gaining a lot of attention in the Christian Rap industry. This album, with the combination of fire lyrics and storytelling and crazy production, is sure to catch the ears of the most discerning of hip hop heads. When it finally clicks that this dude also has an ill message... hook, line, sinker. Faves: 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 13. If you are a fan of real hip hop you will see Datin as a throwback to the "good ole' days". If you're a fan of lyrics, wordplay, and style, you'll see Datin as very relevant in today's hip hop culture. NO FCCs. Review by Daniel of LJH.

*1) 4:19 - Slow tempo. Very serious mood, set by a minimal instrumentation; basic drumkits heavily truncated and muted along with an electric guitar and what resembles a flute. Finally a piano played in staccato and some production embellishments round out this intro.
2) 3:54 - Medium tempo. Heavily synthed and "travelling" (panned) production, over a classic hip hop drum and bass beat.
**3) 4:41 - Med tempo. Love this beat, with the vocal "ahhs" which sounds like a choir of sorts and marching-band style snares.
*4) 6:59 - Med/Fast tempo. Heavy kicks and synths, sure to get you out of your seat. Great production. Don't stop this song early, there's another "hidden" joint on the back of this one.
*5) 6:13 - Slow and reflective. Samples and muted drum sounds give this a crazy sound. Love the guest vocalist on the chorus. Play to the end.
6) 5:47 - Med tempo. Another reflective joint, capped with an electric piano and Roots-type drum patterns.
**7) 4:28 - Med/fast tempo. Strings and effects overlaying a pretty sick drumkit. Catchy song could be the next anthem.
**8) 5:03 - Med/fast. Heavy on the synths and "traveling" drums. One of my favorites because of Datin's amazing rhyme schemes.
9) 3:54 - Med. Dope production - Tupac-ish beat, with interesting twists and changes in the beat. Drums, bass, piano (with heavy effects).
**10) 4:56 - Med/Fast tempo. Synths and electric guitar, with drums. Dope story-telling on this track.
*11) 6:19 - Med tempo. Again, the storytelling is a throwback to when this was hip hop. Basic drum kits (sounds like they were played live at points), layered with various synth effects.
12) 2:15 - Slow tempo. Piano, layered drums and synths carry this song. Shorter song, beware if playing on air.
*13) 3:58 - Slow tempo. Modulated and regularly played piano and synths, hard kicks and snares; dope musical interludes and changes.
14) - 3:08 (OUTRO) - Kanye type samples; classic hip hop beat.
