Album Review

Pearly Whites is a pretty mellow alternative album. Experimental sounds definitely make their way into the tracks, some more than others. It can get to be an almost experimental shoegaze at times. My favorite tracks were probably the ones that featured the more classic sounds like track 8. No FCCs.

**1: Pearly Whites (1:36): alternative, spooky at first then turns mostly whimsical sounds. Lowkey, mellow
***2: Three Stones (2:06): more of an acoustic sound, lowkey and mellow, shoegaze. Gets more alternative towards the end
***3: Ballad (3:02): More upbeat, still alternative shoegaze feel
*4: Ranges (2:54): experimental sounds mostly, mellow mystical turns into a little more of a beat halfway through. Remains very calm throughout
**5. Sleeper (2:49): mellow shoegaze, more acoustic than previous tracks but still alternative and has some experimental vibes
**6. Siren (5:33): similar sounds to the other tracks, mellow, alternative. It is a little shoegaze-y, kind of a rolling track
**7. Siren End (2:41): the track floats along, ocean sounds in the background. Very mellow
****8. It Won’t Change Now (2:38):More upbeat, more classic sounds--acoustic with drum. Still has a little flare that makes it non-traditional, but closer to classic rock than alternative
9. Junkyard (2:16): alternative experimental sounds mostly. Beachy vibes
