Post-punk revival. Dreamlike, haunting, throbbing bass, guitars and floating female vocals with some dancey moments thrown in there. More anchored and less weightless than their previous release which was our top album of 2014. Absolutely love!

1. (4:42) Whiteout—Jagged syncopation and layers of powerful vox
2. (4:32) By Your Side—Hollow, vocal-driven, listless
3. (4:16) *** New Song—Dancey and fun
4. (4:56) **** The Stall—Simple and haunting at first, strong bass, builds in lush synths, beats and vox till the climax three and a half minutes in. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
5. (5:59) So Good—Bright, punchy drums underlie that classic drowsy Warpaint sound
6. (3:43) ** Don’t Wanna—Loud bass, somber and sparse
7. (4:22) ** Don’t Let Go—Atmospheric guitar with distortion at times, soaring vox and drums
8. (3:59) ** Dre—Trippy ethereal mixes of sounds, claps and gliding keys, gets more aggressive
9. (4:57) *** Heads Up—Piano, long vocal stretches, dreamy. Drums come a minute in and song turns into a pulsing, bassy jam
10. (5:06) ** Above Control—Up-tempo and urgent, chiming guitars
11. (4:49) ** Today Dear—Sparse fingerpicked guitar and raw vox
