Local! Oakland resident and perennial KZSU fave Andrew Weathers’ rock band. Leans heavily toward emo, drone, post-rock, and country, with some auto-tuned vocals and gratuitous drum fills. Andrew’s description of Real Life Rock & Roll: “Its basic tenets are to Jam Econo and treat one’s work as seriously as possible…What if the sub-cultures that we create with and for our music were roots rather than outlets?” No FCCs detected.

1. (4:54)—Mickey Newbury cover. Drone intro. Mid-tempo, pretty, dreamy. Goes full emo at the halfway point.
2. (6:41)—Slow, Codeine-esque, with drums overlaying a tinny beat. Multitracked auto-tune vocals. Drifts for three minutes before reaching full volume.
