Francisco y Madero is a bi-national group (San Francisco, California and Guadalajara, Mexico) that calls their music “Huarache-gaze” or “folktnic.” Chicanos Falsos is the name of their latest EP. For this CD, similar to the cassette edition of this EP, the bonus album The Chills Remixes is included, featuring eight different mixes of their song The Chills from Chicanos Falsos. One of the most creative projects on the current Latin American electro-folk scene. Chillwave para siempre.

1. (5:00) **Zig zag (con Impvlso) – Atmospheric piece made of found sounds, beats and distorted vocals. Like sleepwalking in a foreign country.
2. (4:51) ***Surf fronterizo – Epic track with California psych pop sounds merging with “sonidos Jarochos” and layers of found noises and echoes. Sonic beauty.
3. (2:52) **The Chills (con Vicco de Caicedo) – Psych-folk remixed piece. Watery ending.
