Fifth studio album (eighth altogether) from Americana rockers Band of Heathens, this album is filled with eclectic and unique songs and stories, clear lyrics and upbeat music. A true mix of styles, this album has a likeable sound from the first note. My faves: 1, 2, 5, 7, 10 1. med – upbeat Americana tune 2. slow/med – bluesy feeling rock 3. med – toe tapping traveling tune 4. med – Americana rock with feel of British pop 5. med – True Americana- mostly folk/acoustic sound 6. med – self-proclaimed “high energy rock” 7. slow/med – 70’s funk **maybe best song on album 8. slow – nice acoustic guitar, folk sound (contemporary lyrics) 9. slow/med – country rock with Latin music feel 10. med – country rock about marijuana in ca. | ||
