Music that celebrates La Dolce Vita that hit Italy post WWII. Some tunes from the 1950s, dusted off and included. Others are versions by modern artists who love the music of that era. You can’t go wrong with any track. *1.A deliciously hip track from 1958. Fun and lightly swinging. *2. Playful, midtempo jazz w/great male vox & sexy band. Yay. 3. Lush and romantic big band ballad. Like an Italian Rosie Clooney. 4. Lots of strings, romantic male vox. A ballad, big hit in 1955. 5. Light and lazy love song, picks up a bit. *6. Charming midtempo w/sexy female voice. Sweet. 7. Modern instrumental of a 1960s hit. Relaxed & swaying. 8. A modern original written in retro style. Slow & passionate. *9. From 2011, slow w/great husky male vox. Delicious. *10. Very slow, delicate piano at first, then really gets swinging. 11. Written in 1902, here covered in 2003. Relaxed, rather cinematic. | ||
