Great songwriting, typical of Rodney Crowell, continues with this latest release.
Themes: forgiveness, aging, changes. Great music & superior writing.
Some orchestration on certain tracks.

1 – (3:37) East Houston Blues* Gritty opener, mid, featuring Tommy Emmanuel
on guitar.
2 – (3:30) Reckless* Haunting, dark love appeal, slow-mid-tempo, excellent.
3 – (4:11) Life Without Susanna* Rocker, tribute to Guy Clark’s late wife.
4 – (5:14) It Ain’t Over Yet* Mid-tempo reflection on aging. FCC: “shit.”
5 – (4:28) I Don’t Care Anymore* Confessional, mid-up-tempo, great. FCC: “shit.”
6 – (3:59) I’m Tied To Ya’* Moody mid tune featuring Sheryl Crow.
7 – (4:10) Forgive Me Annabelle* Sad song of apology for breakup.
8 – (5:59) Forty Miles From Nowhere* Pretty mid tune of home, tranquility, serenity.
9 – (4:37) Storm Warning* Mid-tempo rocker, title says it all.
10 – (3:54) Nashville 1972* Terrific reflection on long-ago Nashville. FCC: “shitty.”
