Chicago trio that harkens back 20 years, was part of the new post rock movement at the time: how, I'll never understand cuz their music rocked out in its own original way, never approached Tortoise vibes. Songs are usually instrumental and bounce from drum machines, to real drums, synths, guitars, dual bass attacks. This newest may be their best ever really. Gorgeous, weird, rockin. Krautrock meets experimental synth and garage. Great band.
