Nice psych rock. Carlton Melton, Bardo Pond with a certain stoner element. Male vocals are more in your face than the aforementioned. More like Gnod, though lyrics are far less serious, tongue in cheek actually. Great guitar bass drums stuff. Acid Mothers Temple type 70's damage, Velvet Underground, even a touch of Zappa here and there. Excellent.
1) (5:59) plodding dark head nodding beat, epic feel, very cool psych 2) (5:31) groovy feel, hip swaying feel, cool bass lines 3)* (7:42) veeery quiet fade-in (start this one 5-10 seconds early), first 1+ minutes is just quiet electronics but the band crashes in, more epic stuff with wah wah guitar, cool man, great lyrics "get a job!", things go double time and crazed. 4) (6:39) ooh a 70's more "sensitive" tone to this, like the requisite ballad on between the rockers on an early Heart record. 5)* (10:55) oh cool, a more mystical feel to this, velvet underground acid trippy tone with the tribal feel, theres no sitar but it feels like there is, midway lyrics appear in an old English folk delivery 6) (9:02) a big rocker, with dual guitar attacks, some good basic lower lip out rockin, slow fade out. 7) (9:00) another cool rockin track, this one grooving along with some subtle nice electronics, space alien themes, kinda cheesy, spacey electronics long outtro 8)* (7:16) stoner rock groove, wah guitar, head nodding, Geeza bass, funny lyrics "worship satin" yes as in the fabric, not Satan 9) (10:13) the Sabbath jazzy type stoner feel here, chill and trippy, kinda of Zappa feel to this in the storytelling lyrics.
