The album cover is a picture from the 40’s of three hard working men, two in overalls, all three with beers tipped back. They evoke a time gone by, and made me expect some hard-core old-school country. However, it turned out to be a delightfully modern mix of acoustic and electric guitars accompanying Rayna’s gentle voice. An especially nice touch: the CD is designed so it looks like it has greasy fingerprints on it. Best for me: 1, 4, 7

1. slow/med – Title cut, gentle voice on meandering song
2. slow – beautiful vocal harmonizing in story telling tradition
3. med – genre defying- upbeat, hip folk
4. slow/med – almost like a religious sing along
5. slow – clear vocals, nice piano
6. med – Americana/folk tradition
7. med – interesting musical synthesis, most rock song on album
