Burial Subtemple (Hyperdub) Reviewed by BravoMarco South London’s Will Bevan moving onto the darker side of the ambient experimental factor. Both deeply atmospheric tracks with that film noir soundtrack quality. Like: Mytrip, Deison & Mingle Both great additions to KZSU – Prefer 1 No FCC’s (Instrumentals – 1, has garbled sounds) 1) Subtemple (7.23) Drawn out & with various background spoken word. (the female voice with repeated words is particularly intoxicating) underneath a cobwebbed like imagery. The slow pitter pat of footsteps & chains is a constant. 2) Beachfires (9.50) This one is perhaps more desolate, conjuring up bleak places your mind doesn’t really want to take you.…churning synths rumble on at a slow challenging pace. | ||
