Americana music is a broad term for all kinds of music, full of subgenres and special quirks. One area that is truly blossoming at the moment is the intersection of Music from the British Isles with Americana. I am constantly surprised when I find out that bands who sound 100% American are really from oversees. Best for me were 1, 3, 5, 9, 12.

1. 5:10 med – Nashville Irish style reminiscent of Seamus McOwen
2. 3:40 med – bluesy Americana
3. 3:25 med – Grateful Dead vibe
4. 4:39 slow – singer/songwriter, folk, gentle tune
5. 6:40 med – progressive rock, like YES with medieval instrumentation
6. 5:29 slow - progressive rock sound
7. 5:11 slow/med – country rock, variation in tempo/style
8. 3:15 slow – gentle song/ voice
9. 5:13 slow – singer/songwriter tradition, nice song about adultery
10. 5:06 slow – John Denver song (folk)
11. 4:54 slow – all I can say is “ugh”
12. 3:06 slow/med – nice meandering song
13. 3:45 med – country rock
14. 4:05 med – gentle, dreamy
