Wall Of Goth is the latest recording by New York City via Mexico City quintet Rey Pila. This latest EP continues delivering recordings heavily inspired by 1980s synth-pop. I noticed synthesizers have a larger role now in their sound. Nothing wrong with that. Keep feeling the fascination.

RIYL: Ultravox, Disco Ruido, Simple Minds, Young Tender and Depeche Mode.

Recommended Tracks: 2, 3, 4

1. (3:30) How Do You Know? – Medium-up tempo recording with cool synth riff a la late 1980s New Order. This is the most 1980s influenced song on the EP.
2. (3:06) **Ninjas – Catchy upbeat synth-driven popper. Ultravox would be proud.
3. (4:24) *No Man's Land – Slow piece with a Depeche Mode vibe all over.
4. (4:05) *Sunday Games – Medium-up tempo piece driven by synths and a catchy pop melody. You can dance now.
