From the first note of the first track, I simply could not believe the depth, inflection and range or this woman. From breathy to soulful, she’s got some serious pipes. The album is really a showcase of her singing differently in different styles., “from Muscle Shoals to Motown to poignant singer/songwriter”.
I liked: 1, 3, 4,8 and 12 best.

1. 4:06 slow/med – spellbinding vocals with country inflection with spiritual vibe
2. 4:18 med – Oh my! She sounds just like a young Tina Turner
3. 4:43 slow – sultry blues ballad
4. 3:39 med – breathy, sweet vocals with acoustic guitar
5. 4:11 slow – singer/songwriter style
6. 4:20 slow – described as Stevie Nicks’ and Mick Jagger’s musical love child
7. 3:00 med - honky tonk style with slide guitar
8. 4:00 slow – soulful, sensual song
9. 4:22 slow- emotional ballad
10. 3:37 slow – love ballad, no quite as intense as #9
11. 2:08 med – reminds me of 80’s pop
12. 5:22 slow/med – velvet voice
13. 4:59 – slow – moody piano, rife with emotion
