The product of an impromptu recording session, this release brings together elements of percussion (Nakatani) electonics (Nanna & Schoofs – also voice manipulation with the latter) & bass guitar (Woods) All resulting in a smooth, sometimes glitchy, experimental experience. Friend of KZSU, Andrew Weathers again doing wonders with the mastering. All tracks have an austere atmospheric richness to them. (Longish fades) Perfect late night fare.
Like: Kip Hanrahan, Aurora Josephson, All have shades of a post punk intro

No FCC’s (Instrumentals – voice manipulations)
1) 1 (1.51) A restrained breathy opener.
2) 2 (1.56) Free form voice takes the lead to a bass & percussion underbelly.
3) 3 (1.51) Bare & intense.
4) 4 (1.51) Going into industrial mellow territory. (extra long fade)
5) 5 (1.31) Static charged energy.
6) 6 (1.31) Grumblings & warberlings.
7) 7 (1.36) Diamanda Galas–esque intro.
8) 8 (4.06) Whisper quiet with doom laden brooding sounds. Exquisite.
9) 9 (1.56) Carries on from the previous with added bells.
10) 10 (2.31) Bells & jangles combine with the eerie sound.
11) 11 (1.25) Louder percussion along with the sultry voice.
12) 12 (1.16) Moans & groans, with a nice bass line.
13) 13 (1.56) Croaky voice accompanied by minimal banging.
14) 14 (3.26) Static ebbs & flows, as does the aching voice. Quiet final part.
15) 15(2.10) Creaks along splendidly – to minimal accompaniment.
16) 16 (0.56) All the elements on display.
