The late blues legend (real name, Luther Mayer who died in 2015) teaming up with Cool John Ferguson. The voice is out-of-this-world blues-perfect. Deep, evocative and totally unique. He’s got a great style of ad libbing & talking in a song. It’s kick-ass great. That voice! I can’t get over that voice! Watch for applause at end of tracks. 1. Relaxed strings, mid head-nodder w/a great sound. Some talking. 2. Great funky version of the classic. Talking in intro, great guitars. 3. Stripped down, extra slow, haunting ballad. 4. Oh hell yeah! Down & dirty, slow striding version. 5. Low down & laid back. Damn! 6. Mid/upbeat strings & perc w/strolling vocals. 7. Sleepy ballad, low key but such great style. 8.
