A husband and wife duo from North Carolina who pride themselves in “never playing the same show twice”. They have a huge diversity of influences and talents and like to have many guests appear both on their albums and live. The resulting sound is upbeat, unique and every song is distinctive. Best: 1, 2, 5, 7**.
1. med- funky Americana with fun sounding instrumentation
2. slow – beautiful sultry ballad, evoking older eras
3. slow/med – gives me images of people slow dancing- mostly
4. med – sounds just like the name- freight train
5. slow/med – Tingle inducing kind of love song??
6. slow – sweet ballad with nice vocal harmonies
7. slow – sounds JUST LIKE Malvina Reynolds (theme from Weeds)
8. slow – the beacon of a lighthouse- singing just for you
