Hoping Against Hope

Avante mathy prog infused experimental jazz tinged rock. Chamber type instruments collide with rock instrumentation, with female vocals in places. Brings to mind the epic Mission of Burma associated project Birdsongs of the Mesozoic (check them out). See also Chrome Hoof, Miriodor. Stalwart band with roots back 35 years, on the legendary Cuneiform Records. Excellent.
