Review: these guys have been playing progressive jazz rock since the late 60s, since before the term was coined. They were part of the same movement that also saw the birth of Pink Floyd. I saw them open for Hendrix. This disc shows they aren't slowing down.
If You Like: Return To Forever (with Al Di Meola), King Crimson

1/ Black & Crimson (5:05) - electric piano starts> midtempo jam> guitar solo> midtempo jam> quick stop
2/ The Nodder (7:04) - guitar starts> slow tempo jam with repetitive rifts> sax solo> slow jam> slow fade
*3/ Elsewhere (8:01) - synth starts with waves of sound> slow tempo jam> guitar solo> midtempo jam> fade
*4/ The Steamer (4:39) - drums start> uptempo jam> sizzling sax solo> rocking guitar solo> uptempo jam> crescendo end
*5/ Arianna Blue (4:24) - electric piano/guitar starts> slow & quiet jam> slow build in intensity> electric piano/guitar duet> slow jam> quick fade
