Review: Ella is in fine form in this live date at one of the premiere jazz clubs in Hollywood in the '50s and her band is tight. It's all Ella, no solos from the band, and she runs through two sets of classics with her own individual stamp on each. There is stage banter at the beginning of several tracks, so cue past this. Also, the track time includes stage banter at the end of the track.
