New record from Houston, TX band that takes inspiration from funk and soul from Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. Instrumental psych/funk with occasional hazy vox, all very fluid and dreamy. * "khruangbin" means airplane in Thai Recs: 1, 3, 4, 7, 10 1. * (3:45) slow calm, mournful w/ nice interlocking bass and chiming guitar lines 2.
