Django Django, a London four-piece often decked out in matching sci-fi T-shirts like a krautrock beach volleyball team, are masters of merging flesh and diode. Earlier albums have sounded like a bunch of twitchy cyborgs playing rootsy rock’n’roll tunes, or a load of ’50s Link Wray licks and ’90s Beta Band albums uploaded onto a malfunctioning streaming service. There is something immediately likeable about Marble Skies, the third record from British group Django Django. From the first chirping note of the title track, which launches the album, there’s an upbeat sense of positivity.

.Marble Skies (4:26) - A mini galaxy of vocoder effects and blinking keyboards.
.Surface To Air (3:41) - Groovy ethereal vibe to the propulsive beats.
.Champagne (4:42) - Swaying psych-pop.
.Tic Tac Toe (3:54) - Boisterous and borderline chaotic fast-paced tune.
.Further (3:21) - Country-tinged, desert-rock stomper.
.Sundials (4:00) - Piano-based with feathery orchestral flourishes.
.Beam Me Up (3:31) - Gritty with reverb, layers of sounds create a dance melody.
.In Your Beat (3:49) - The amazing party song of the evening.
.Real Gone (5:49) - Quirky, high N-R-G techno.
.Fountains (3:01) - A compact little march that beckons like the Pied Piper.
