Split release by two epic doom metal bands: Slomatics are from Belfast, Conan are from England. Downtuned glory, slow crushing themes. Wiki calls Conan “caveman battle doom” which is a new one to me but quite fitting. Great stuff. 1)* (6:40) starts with white noise/ocean sound, very quiet but a harsh drone fades in quickly joined by drums then a cool doomy head nodding metal riff and plod, excellent drone outro, leads into next A2 (1:09) quiet dark drone w buried dark spoken word disturbing 3)* FCC easy to edit see note (11:20) slow huge dooooom Slow fade out w 2 minl left to white noise at very end a weird FCC - simply pot down track with slow fade, elimate the end 4) (6:37) epic big hollow doom 5) (5:50) need I say?
