Review: Saxophonist Weeds explores a whole new approach to jazz on his latest release. It is a lot easier to swing with eleven players instead of the usual 17 employed in a usual big band. Weeds mines gold in lesser-known gems of past jazz masters and reinterprets them in stunning arrangements. He also utilizes 2 different conductors, who each bring out a special flavor to the music
