Samite, (pronounced sam-uh-tay) a Ugandan-born multi-instrumentalist uses his music to heal and restore. This music creates an uplifting quiet space to do that

1-- Space –5:27 – definitely a feeling of spaciousness here with mellow guitar, flute, and chanting voices that have a spiritual feel

2 – Lero –3:33-- alto flute, bass, adunga (Ugandan kalimba) and vocals have a rocking 6/8 conversation that then slows

*3 – On the Same Journey – 3:48-- pretty flute melody with sparkling piano notes as well as vocalizations

*4-- In the Moment – 5:02 – nice bass motif under floating flute melody with piano accents

5-- We All Have a Story to Tell –3:58 – more urgency here with repeating notes that gradually modulate and morph

*6- Resilience –4:51 –hymn-like—flute leads the way; vocals start halfway through with lovely harmony

7-- The Search –7:09 – deep bass resonance with guitar ostinato

8—Mutima –3:13-- flute with keyboard chords and vocalization

9-- Waterfall –3:58-- features the litungu, a 7-string harp

*10-- Mayengo –4:15-- upbeat, catchy

*11- What's the Answer? --4:01--adungu and flute; lovely!

12--Ntinda –3:36-- based on a folk song with lyrics, guitar, piano, flute
