Just loud: Episode 1

Episode 1 is Just Loud’s debut EP; it’s a bit pop, a bit indie, and a bit alternative. The songs all have a strong sense of rhythm and quality vocals. The artist from New York tackles loneliness and self exploration over great combos of drums and synth. Think MGMT and passion pit for the faster tracks.

Recommend: 2
FCCs: 1(?) and 4

1) (3:49) Ghost - Potential FCC “too much coke and cigarettes” a little dark and a little spacey. Strong beat and slightly distorted vocals, nice section where vocals and percussion are offset. Sort of sounds like pop.
2) (3:32) **Electrified- Fastest song on the album. Opens with drums and synth, an MGMT or maybe passion pit vibe. Strong, fast beat.
3) (2:50) Angels and demons- mid/slow, Has a nice beat with a focus on vocals. Lyrics are a little cliche at times.
4) (3:22) Creep- FCC- “fuckin.” Slow, spacey, and vocal-centric cover of Radiohead’s Creep.
