Rosanne Cash, She Remembers Everything

Daughter of one of country’s true legendary figures, Rosanne lives up to her father’s name. Her clear voice is the true highlight here. I was honestly expecting this album to be more derivative and less creative than it is, as is often the case with big names in music, but Rosanne really surprised me here! Every song is unique and somewhat profound, and all are accented with her versatile and beautiful voice. My fave was #3, but it has an FCC (shit), so be careful. It’s all good, though. Try 2, 3,4, 8**, 9.

4:19 slow/med - mellow country rock, electric guitar highlights
5:20 slow - such a beautiful voice! Country ballad
3:54 med - Elvis Costello (also on guitar), Kris Kristofferson sing country rock tune
4:07 slow/med - soothing ballad about wanting love
3:31 slow - lamenting song about migration…. TIMELY!
4:02 med - country rock about love and life
3:36 slow - minimal accompaniment on song about mother and father
3:35 slow - Title track, ***REALLY GOOD, Indie/Americana sound
2:12 slow - interesting sad song
4:00 slow - sad song about lost love
