Low-Fi Tech-House. Most underrated record of 2018 for sure. Intricate, catchy, and absolutely fun, Rezzett’s self-titled release might be his best yet. Great example of a low-fi record not trying to be nostalgic. Super grimey, lived-in feelings abound. Can’t say enough good things about this. Perfect for any electronic, hip hop, or experimental show.

Hala (08:45) - *** what got me hooked, arpegiatted chords, low-fi vibes, thumping 808 comes in at 2 min, super grimey, absolutely jammin, gargantuan track, a ton of muscle packed in with a subtle and engaging soundscape
Longboat (04:04) - some cool low end techno action here, thumpin drums, warped vocal loops
Sexzzy Creep (06:19) - uncluttered drum intro, techno vibes
Yunus in Ekstasi (03:16) - ambient, no drums, synthy, spacey
Wet Bilge (04:30) - * chill vibe, super low-fi elevator music in like the best way
Tarang (06:17) - * long build for the intro, but then def breaks down into a low-key groooovy beat
Gremlins (04:20) - * succch a strong track! Hip hop and 8 bit influences on this fire track, hi hats dance around a relentless synth lead that just burrows into your brain
Worst Ever Contender (05:47) - ** a throwback dnb track for the ages, super long intro well worth the wait tho, seriously classic drum programming complemented by creative deeply layered synths
