Mellowharsher

From a 10” record lovingly packaged and addressed to us years back, sadly literally fell through the cracks. Excellent experimental type compositions that fall also realms into electro, ambient, and drone. Drug infused influenced type stuff but well played and recorded. For fans of 7% Solution, Flying Saucer Attack, Crescent, Mogwai, and strangely enough, maybe something like the post punk 70’s minimalism of Young Marble Giants, drone noise of Throbbing Gristle. Though not a recent release, its obscurity and quality earns it a run in our current rotation, afile. So great.

1)* (3:52) chill dark with violin played discordantly, lovely hypno 2) (5:18) chill again, dark organ with subliminal low fi buried vocals, heres your Throbbing Gristle nod 3)* (3:01) chill drone electro but this with a womans voice softly singing “this song it makes me cry…” lovely and strange 4) (4:20) soft drone dark organ, chill 5) (3:44) soft drone dark organ, grows harsher and noisier, pulsing, but still chill 6)* (4:17) pulse waves in the analog synth drone, bouncy almost Casio tones appear playfully
