Chicago noise outfit that’s evolved into scatching hardcore thrash noise rock. Strangely at times these songs have a Sabbathy element, subtle style changes so its false to classify them as thrash metal or some other heavy blanket moniker. But its loud and brutal for sure, lots of songs with the 2/4 chugging heavy beat. Thrill Jockey continues to not disappoint with these guys who have connections to Lightning Bolt, Albini. Always loved this band – they get an “M” this time, moved from the “X”.
